Finlaystone House, overlooking the River Clyde, offers a unique and magical setting for weddings, corporate and private events and functions. We are able to cater for the smallest most intimate events up to those of about three hundred guests.

Set in five hundred acres of ancient woodland and mature renowned gardens, this handsome historic mansion holds the key ingredients for a memorable occasion. The gardens and grounds of Finlaystone offer a truly glorious setting for those fairytale-wedding photographs, the keepsake of a lifetime.

Finlaystone House has been the home to five families throughout it’s eight hundred year history. The house has also hosted some of Scotland’s most famous historical figures in the past, most notably John Knox in 1556 and Robert Burns in 1768. The house was extended by the noted architect Sir John James Burnet in 1900.
