Finlaystone has a variety of venues and spaces for hire to suit most needs and budgets. We can host beautiful weddings and corporate events in the Mansion House or on the main lawn but also offer a range of spaces to hire. From modern office space, the cafe, our lovely walled garden or rustic buildings, get in touch with us and we’ll help you find the right space for your occasion and needs.
Events at Finlaystone
Finlaystone Country Estate is a fantastic place to host day events and children’s parties.
Reserve a number of our sites from £40 up to 5pm Monday-Sunday.
You can book activities with our Rangers or at the Ark to help make your event even more special.
Catering from the cafe is available on request.
Fees are £4 per child and £6 per adult. For children’s parties, one free adult ticket per 10 children.
We have gazebos, chairs and tables available to hire:
- £35 for 4.5m x 3m gazebo
- £50 for 6m x 3m gazebo
- £5 per table rental
Venues & Spaces to Hire
Finlaystone Mansion House & Front Lawn
Finlaystone Mansion House & front lawn is available to hire for wedding ceremonies, wedding photography, corporate functions and meetings, and corporate away days.
With the use of gazebos and marquees, these spaces can cater for larger crowds upwards of 150-200.

Walled Garden
The Walled Garden offers a beautiful space for all types of day and evening events. Whether you’re looking for a place to host a special occasion, arrange a private dinner, celebrate the people in your life, or host a corporate away day, the gardens will provide a stunning backdrop for your event. Reserve this site for £40 for day time events up to 5pm. Please get in touch for evening event rates.
The Old Laundry
The Old Laundry building can be hired for social gathering for groups and clubs, parties, workshops and training days comfortably hosting 30-40 people. Hire this space from £60 per half day or £110 for full day events. Long term hire and evening events can be discussed on application.
Captain’s Field
Located in the woodlands, this lovely open area has two stone BBQs and a covered shelter area. Conveniently located near the woodland play areas, this space is ideal for large groups, children’s parties and informal games. Reserve this site for £40 for day time events up to 5pm or get in touch about hiring this space for evening events.
The Ark
The Ark at Finlaystone is a wonderful family friendly experience and space near The Ark can be booked for parties and events. Additionally, some activities, meet & greets and close-ups with our many animal friends can also be booked. The Tea Room
Located at the entrance of the walled garden, the cafe provides a quiet and intimate space for evening events and special occasions. Overlooking the walled garden, this unique space is perfect for many occasions. For fees and rates, please get in touch. Available for hire from 6pm.

East & West Barn Holiday Lets
East and West Barn Holiday Lets are in the heart of the estate with our gardens and woodlands right on the door step.
