TAKE A WALK THROUGH ‘SNOWDROP PARADISE’ ON VALENTINES’ DAY

David Finnis, Finlaystone Head Ranger said ‘Despite the recent snowfall our Snowdrops are just beginning to flower and during the next couple of weeks should be at their very best. Each Saturday & Sunday at 2pm in February our Rangers will be leading guided snowdrop strolls but on Sunday 14th February we will have a special ‘Valentines’ Day in Paradise’ event when visitors will be able to take a romantic stroll through the ‘ParadiseTrail’ to see the snowdrops. Valentine posies and heart warming ‘valentised refreshments’ will be available in the tearoom. Throughout the ‘Snowdrop Festival’ we will have an exciting self-led trail which will take visitors into the area of the estate where the snowdrops will be spectacular, set against the backdrop of two large waterfalls.’ He continues ‘Paying visitors who come during the week, that is Monday to Friday, will be entitled to a free hot drink of tea or coffee in the Visitor Centre ’between 11am & 4pm. Snowdrop posies will be available throughout February and bulbs ‘in the green’ will be available for sale from the end of February and into March’
