Thinking ahead for Christmas

Although we are just heading into autumn, Christmas is not far away and staff at Finlaystone Country Estate are already preparing for the festive season.

Head Ranger, David Finnis says ‘We will have a great selection of home grown Christmas trees of all sizes available this year at spectacular ‘give away’ prices! (£3.30 per ft up to 6ft, £22.50 7’- 9’ and £30 10’ & over)’Why not make a date for a visit to choose and cut down your own tree. Visitors who buy one of our trees will receive free entry for the family to enjoy the estate which includes woodland walks, children’s play areas and gardens. Christmas gifts, including home produced wreaths will be available in the shop. The Tearoom will be open at weekends and we will also be holding special ‘Santa’s Grotto’(additional price of £8.50 per child) on the 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th & 20th December. After meeting Santa, children will be able to join in with Christmas arts & crafts. In addition we will also be host to a variety of craft stalls each weekend.

Normal admission prices apply, (Adults £4, Children/Concessions £2.50) but if you buy one of our Christmas trees, your admission will be refunded.
