STRONG WINDS CAUSE TREE DAMAGE AND CLOSE PATHS AT FINLAYSTONE COUNTRY ESTATE The strong winds over Tuesday night early Wednesday morning brought a number of trees and heavy branches down at Finlaystone obstructing the popular ‘yellow trail’ way marked path through the woods. Head Ranger, David Finnis said ‘With Easter only a few days away and what is traditionally the start of the main visiting season, Rangers have been hard at work clearing the trees and debris to ensure this popular path is open again for everyone to enjoy.’ The attached photograph show Seasonal Ranger, Greg Muir, in the process of chain sawing a way through one of the fallen trees.
