Clan MacMillan & House History

Finlaystone House and Estate are owned by the MacMillan family who have lived in it for 6 generations. George MacMillan, who still spends significant time tending the woods and gardens, is Chief of the Clan MacMillan and welcomes many clan members each year.

There is a Clan Centre in the Stable block where you can, by appointment, view the clan archives and there are various MacMillan related items to buy in the shop. For further information on the Clan visit the Clan MacMillan website.
